The most recent installment of Total Combat Cage Fighting was held Thursday October 2nd at Sycuan Casino in San Diego. This event marked the sixth anniversary of Total Combat and the organizations biggest headlining fight. Total Combat continues to put on impressive events showing why they are southern California’s leading MMA organization.
The night was headlined by UFC and Ultimate Fighter alum Jesse "JT Money" Taylor taking on Drew "The Master" Fickett. The bout was over quickly with Taylor making quick work of Fickett on his way to a ground and pound TKO at 1:42 of round 1.
In heavyweight action, Joey “The Mexicutioner” Beltran and Wes Fenton put on a show. Both fighters were trying to impose their will before giving that up and throwing down. Beltran came out swinging and connecting knocking Fenton down and landing two more shots before the ref stepped in to stop the fight.
